...harps on residents to ensure APC wins the general elections...

The community gladiators of Ojo Local Government under the umbrella of Community Development Committee *CDC* on Thursday 23rd of June, 2022  converged at the Local Government Town Hall on RestHouse Street to intercede for *Nigeria, Lagos State and the Caring Local Government* at large.

The gathering was leveraged on to harness community stakeholders from the nooks and cranny of the local government as issues bothering on community development was first discussed before the prayer sessions commenced.

The Executive Chairman of the Local Government *Alhaji Rasulu Olushola Idowu* (Mr. Project) who was unavoidably absent at the event was represented by the CDC Chairman *Alhaji Niyi Makinde* a.k.a Onikoyi. In his goodwill message to the community congregation, the Chairman spoke on the need to continually pray for our dear Nation, the government and those in charge of public administration, more especially, in this crucial period.

*Alhaji Mukadas Hassan* the CDC Secretary of the Local Government  delivered a goodwill message on behalf of the CDC State Chairman's. The secretary described the efficacy of prayer in every arm of government and how it could be of help. He further noted the *Owo church massacre* as a community disaster and a call for everyone to be very conscious of their immediate environment. Rounding up his speech, the secretary appreciates the clergy duly represented by *Imam Abdulsalam Habeeb* and *Rev. Gbadebo* the CAN Chairman who have come to lead the community congregation in prayers for the Nation.

The program ended glamorously when the *All Progressives Congress* Lagos State House of Assembly Candidate for Constituency 1 at the forthcoming February 2023 general elections *Hon.  Comrade Olusegun Adebisi EGE* was decorated with the Official Lagos State Community attire and was as well inducted into the CDC as a Honourary Member. In his appreciation remarks, Comrade EGE thanked the leadership of the CDC in Ojo Local Government for deeming it fit to recognize him. He went back memories describing his late father *Chief Afolabi EGE* as a community man during his days on earth and that footstep he has adopted. The incoming *LAHA* member @⁨Segun Ege⁩ promised not to be an ordinary community man but a remarkable one to be precise. Conclusively, Comrade EGE appeal to the community congregation to ensure the success of the *All Progressives Congress* at all level of contest at the forthcoming general elections in February 2023.
